The History of Bubba's Garage

Back in September of 1994, Bubba and Peggy moved to a community called Shannondale just outside Charles Town, WV. Because we were just starting out in our careers, it took a few years to become financially sound enough to even think about building a second garage. In 2002 we purchased an adjoining lot and had enough land (about 1.25 acres total) to be able to build the garage. It took a long time to find plans that we liked and that could accommodate a lift. Finally we found Behm Designs online and ordered plan #1512, a 40x40 foot garage designed with an RV bay. We contracted a local builder (AWM Homes, LLC) and in the summer of 2003, Bubba's Garage was ready for cars.
